Mexican Cuisine

Mexico is a country in North America. It is just south of the United States.

Many chili peppers are grown in Mexico. Lots of Mexican recipes use chili peppers to give a spicy flavor. There are also a lot of non-spicy Mexican dishes.

Many Mexican dishes have meat, such as pork, beef, or chicken. Many dishes are also served with corn tortillas as wraps. Other common ingredients are garlic and onion. Some dishes have cheese or avocado, too.
