The statue you see here is in Russia. It is named The Motherland Calls. It is very, very big.

The statue is of a woman. She is holding a huge sword in her hand. She is holding it up high.

The statue was made to remember a tough battle Russia won. The Russians fought the Germans in this battle. The battle lasted 200 days. That’s why there are 200 steps below the statue. The steps go up to the statue.
